Weddings, parties and retreats in Fes

Fes can host a riad wedding for a few dozen guests, a ballroom reception for hundreds, or a retreat in a palace riad. We find the venue that fits your numbers, then plan everything around it: transfers, rooms, guided days, dinners and music. Every event is custom-quoted.

Fassi celebrations have filled courtyards for generations. We plan everything around the venue.Plan this with us

Place Boujloud, Fes

A courtyard, a ballroom or a garden

For an intimate wedding or a milestone party, a palace riad gives you a whole courtyard of zellige and carved cedar, with rooms for your closest guests upstairs. For larger numbers, the big hotels in the Ville Nouvelle have ballrooms and wedding teams.

For a company retreat, Fes offers meeting rooms in historic riads and the city itself as the programme: workshops with artisans, a guided medina morning, a cooking class, a day in the cedar forest.

How planning an event works

Step 1

Numbers, dates and style

How many guests, what kind of event, and the feel you want.

Step 2

Venue shortlist

Venues that genuinely fit your numbers, with what each can and cannot do.

Step 3

The guest days

Arrival transfers, rooms, guided medina walks, a day trip and group dinners.

Step 4

The event

Timings, music, food and the walk or drive between places, all on one plan.

Who arranges it

A Fes-based trip planner from Serenity Morocco Tours puts the whole thing together: the stay, the transfers, the guide, the tables and the timing. We tell you why we suggest each place, and if a property isn't right for your dates or your needs we say so and offer another. You get one written proposal and one contact for the whole trip.

Before you ask us

The questions people ask us most before they plan a trip.

Can you get married in Fes?
You can hold a wedding celebration in Fes, in a palace riad or a hotel ballroom. The legal side of a marriage in Morocco has its own requirements, so many couples marry at home and celebrate in Fes. We plan the celebration and the guest trip; tell us your plans and we'll say what's possible.
How many guests can a Fes venue hold?
It ranges widely. A palace riad might suit a few dozen guests; Riad Al Amine hosts events for up to 80 people; the Fes Marriott Hotel Jnan Palace has six event rooms, the largest for about 1,300. We match the venue to your numbers.
Can we hire Dar Batha or the Jnan Sbil garden?
We don't promise that. Dar Batha is a museum and Jnan Sbil a public garden, so any use needs the authorities' permission. We use them for photos and small guided moments, not exclusive hire.
Do you organise corporate retreats in Fes?
Yes: meeting space in a historic riad or a hotel, rooms for the team, and a programme around it, such as artisan workshops, a guided medina morning, a cooking class or a day in the Middle Atlas.

Tell us your dates. We'll plan it with you.

  1. Tell us what drew you in. Your dates, who is travelling and what you want to see.
  2. A person reads it. We write a day-by-day plan for your group, private or small-group.
  3. You change anything. Then we confirm the guides, drivers and riads.
