Overview
A gentle day in the green country south of Fes — the old medina of Sefrou with its waterfall, the cave-dwelling village of Bhalil, and the surrounding orchards.
Just half an hour south of Fes lies Sefrou, an ancient little town in the foothills of the Middle Atlas that was once an important caravan stop and home to a large Jewish community. Far quieter than Fes, its compact medina, old mellah and the waterfall on its edge make for a relaxed half-day-plus in the countryside.
Nearby is Bhalil, a hillside village famous for its troglodyte homes still carved into the rock and lived in today — you'll be welcomed into one for mint tea and a chat. The whole area is ringed by cherry orchards (Sefrou holds an annual cherry festival), and the drive itself, through farmland and olive groves, is part of the pleasure.

Yes. Every itinerary is a starting point. Add a day, swap a riad, change the start city — we'll re-quote in 24 hours and lock the price in writing before any deposit.
How fit do I need to be?
Easy. Light walking on medina cobblestones, plus optional activities you can opt in or out of on the day.
